Will is completely obsessed with the college admissions process. And he loves sharing his knowledge with students!
Will’s first job out of college was as an Admission Counselor at Sarah Lawrence College where he earned his Bachelor's, followed by his Master’s from Claremont Graduate University where he also pursued doctoral work. Throughout graduate school, he guided students as a private college counselor, tutored for standardized tests, and read applications for selective liberal arts colleges. Will also helped build a college application curriculum as the “Application Expert.”
After graduate school, Will worked at The Princeton Review for 7+ years. In this capacity, he engaged with high school counselors, students, and parents on standardized testing and its role in admissions as well as related student-and-parent decision making. You may have seen him lead a national online event–or been in attendance at one of the dozens of high schools where he has discussed admissions, testing, or application essays.
Will loves to share his passion for college admissions with young people, helping his students identify and get into colleges where they will flourish. To that end, he is thrilled to work with students and families as a Scholar Co. advisor, balancing each person's unique needs and preferences with his nuanced understanding of the broader admissions landscape.
