An educator with decades of experience, Sarah Woodruff leverages her expertise in writing and teaching as she supports students through the college admissions process. Sarah holds a degree in English with a specialization in Early Modern Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a Master’s in Secondary Education as well as a California Teaching Credential from Loyola Marymount University. She is also a lifetime member of the Delta Epsilon Iota Academic Honor Society. Having taught both AP and IB courses, Sarah has a broad yet intimate understanding of the high school curriculum and experience, which uniquely equips her to support students in navigating the challenges they face in moving through the admissions timeline. She has worked extensively with students on revising essays, preparing for interviews, and developing strong resumes and portfolios that show their best selves.
Sarah offers a diverse and dynamic perspective informed by her experiences working with young people across STEM, writing, and the performing arts and serving in the roles of educator, mentor, and administrator. Sarah strongly believes that each student is unique and deserves a personalized approach.
