Rebekka graduated summa cum laude from North Dakota State University where she double majored in Social Work and Human Development & Family Science and minored in Psychology. After obtaining her undergraduate degrees, Rebekka earned a master's in School Counseling from Capella University. Rebekka brings over five years of school-based counseling experience, which involves supporting students with their social, emotional, and academic development. This is where Rebekka discovered her enthusiasm for college and career advising. She quickly fell in love with supporting students in identifying their strengths and exploring their passions. In her work, Rebekka has helped students with academic planning, assisting them with selecting coursework that best aligns with their future plans; guided students through postsecondary exploration, empowering them to identify which options are best suited for them; taught units on resume building, helping students highlight key, differentiating aspects of their high school experience; and supported students and their families in navigating the college application process.

She understands that the admissions process can be overwhelming, which is why she loves using her expertise to break it down into manageable components, help students set and meet individualized goals, and alleviate student and family concerns. Rebekka believes in the importance of student empowerment and self-advocacy and brings an excellent combination of humor, empathy, and straightforwardness to her interactions.
