Erin Rondeau-Madrid
Passionate about teaching, Dr. Erin Rondeau-Madrid left a successful marketing communications career to become an educator, researcher, and mentor. She brings nearly 15 years of experience teaching English, French, education, and global studies across U.S. and international secondary and university settings, where she built strong relationships with diverse learners and communities.
Erin earned her Ph.D. in Curriculum & Instruction from Purdue University, receiving both the Ross Fellowship and the Bilsland Dissertation Fellowship for excellence in academics and scholarship. Her work on mental health literacy in education has been published in the Journal of Public Pedagogies, and she has co-authored chapters on teacher identity, social justice, and global education. A former secondary and university French instructor with an M.A. in French Literature, Erin brings a perspective shaped by culture, language, and meaningful reflection.
With advanced training in narrative inquiry—a qualitative methodology that explores how people make meaning through the stories they tell—Erin helps college applicants uncover the heart of their experiences and shape them into clear, compelling narratives. Known for her reassuring presence, she supports students in expressing who they are, not just what they’ve achieved, offering thoughtful guidance, structure, and encouragement so they feel seen, supported, and empowered throughout the journey.
She also loves nineties music, anything lemon, and all things Halloween.
