Elena graduated summa cum laude from Texas A&M University with a major in psychology and a minor in women’s and gender studies. After graduation, Elena earned a Master of Science in Social Work from The University of Texas with a concentration in administration and policy practice.

Elena began working for Scholar Co. in 2021 as an application support specialist, helping students navigate the essay portion of their undergraduate admission applications. She now provides administrative and service support to the Scholar Co. team and clients. In addition, Elena is a Highlands Certified Consultant (HCC) for aptitude testing. As an HCC, Elena specializes in utilizing Highlands' comprehensive assessments to help students discover their strengths and interests and to make informed decisions regarding their major/college selection and potential career paths.
