Alissa Schwarz Lebovich graduated from The Johns Hopkins University with a BA in Writing Seminars and a minor in French. She then went on to earn her MS in Integrated Marketing Communications from Northwestern University. Prior to joining the Powered by Scholar Co. team, she was an alumni interviewer for Hopkins, and she draws from this experience as well as her extensive skills in writing, strategy development, and branding to help college applicants identify, hone, and articulate their values, passions, and skills.

After spending years consulting for many global and boutique advertising agencies, building brands through qualitative research and strategy development, Alissa returned to her writing roots to tutor high schoolers in essay writing. Now, as a Powered by Scholar Co. consultant, Alissa leverages her diverse experiences to provide strategic guidance and writing support for students navigating the college admissions process.
